IHCL signs a Gateway resort in Gwalior

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new resort in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. This brownfield project will be branded under the Gateway label, further strengthening IHCL’s presence in central India.

Commenting on the announcement, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate and Development, IHCL, said:
“Gwalior, with its rich heritage and growing infrastructure, is emerging as a key destination in central India. This signing aligns with our strategy of expanding in key cultural and economic hubs across the country. We are thrilled to partner with Imperial Hospitality for this exciting project.”

Spread across a sprawling 30.8 acres, the 186-key Gateway Gwalior will feature a host of amenities, including:

  • Multiple dining options, such as an all-day diner, specialty restaurants, and a bar.
  • A state-of-the-art gym, two swimming pools, a spa, and an associated golf course.
  • Expansive banqueting facilities, with two outdoor spaces capable of hosting up to 10,000 guests and two indoor halls spanning a total of 1,100 sq. m.

The resort is designed to cater to weddings, corporate events, and leisure travelers, offering an unparalleled combination of luxury and functionality.

Rohit Wadhwa and Anshuman Mishra, Directors of Imperial Hospitality, shared their enthusiasm:

With the addition of this property, IHCL will have 15 hotels in Madhya Pradesh, including six under development, further reinforcing its leadership in the region’s hospitality sector.
